The New Favorite

I find fragrance shopping can be a bit of a hassle. At times, it's fun and exciting to pick up a perfume and have a whiff of the different scents and look at the pretty little bottles. To me though, I don't really shop for perfumes. Most times, I find it easier to scan Bath and Body Works for the newest body splash that I can layer on throughout the day. I am a student, which means I'm not full of cash to be able to throw $90+ on a bottle of perfume. Since I can't buy full sized perfumes at the drop of a hat, I think it's a good thing to try out the rollerball version of the scent (considering there is a rollerball size). Rollerballs are mostly thin cylinders or rectangles full of a smaller amount of perfume. These are good to throw in your purse to freshen up throughout the day.

Normally, my favorite perfume is Chloe's Eau de Parfum in the pretty glass bottle with the pink ribbon on top. I love the peony and lychee scent with a hint of rose. It makes me feel chic and feminine, especially with the beautiful bottle placed on my counter. My mom used to wear Chloe perfume, which makes it even more precious to me. The light scent is fresh and beautiful, and it will always be one of my favorites.

A couple weeks ago, I went into the Kate Spade store at the mall and immediately noticed the stand full of their new perfumes called "Live Colorfully". I had never seen a Kate Spade perfume before, so it really caught my attention. The colorful bottles were adorable and I knew that I had to try it out. I must say that I fell in love with the scent as soon as I tried it! The smell of mandarine, pink water lily, tiare flower, golden gardenia, and coconut water is fresh and perfect for the summer! I can't believe how good this perfume smells and how light it is. It is quite pricey as expected, so I bought the rollerball version!

The rollerball is a really good size and an even better price at $24. I highly recommend it and I will continue to buy this perfume!
