The May Beauty Bundle

Who's excited for May? I know that I sure am! I usually finish school at the end of May, which means summer will be starting very soon. I can't wait for the new summer collections with vibrant nail polishes, rich eyeliners, and sheer bases. I'm also ecstatic to wear flowy tops and colorful shorts with my naturally wavy hair flying in the summer wind. With that image in mind, let's discuss my May Beauty Bundle.

For this month, I'm all about the base, eyes, and lips. I'm currently on the search for a very lightweight base that lasts all day. Some of the foundations in mind are the Chanel Perfection Lumiére Velvet Foundation, Bare Minerals Serum Foundation, and Tarte Amazonian Clay Airbrush Foundation. For the eyes, I'll be using the more colorful shades in my dearly loved NARSissist Eye Palette. I've been loving the shimmery lilac shade in the middle of the palette and the navy color in the bottom has my name written all over it! I also think that the darker purple shade would look amazing applied wet to the lashline as a liner with some mascara and a bold lip. Overall, I think that the palette will be my go to for the summer time as it houses both neutral and bright colors! I've been on the hunt for a transparent lip balm that really hydrates and protects the lips, which I've found in the Smith's Rosebud Salve. I've used the product before in tin form, but for the summer time I think the tube version is so much more hygienic. It's a really great lip balm that I'll be posting a full review on soon! Last but not least is my favorite of the bunch. I picked up the Lancôme Lip Lover in the shade Rose Contre-Temps, which is a beautiful rosy pink that has incredible pigment. The Lip Lovers are all very glossy but feel weightless on the lips. The shade I have has the pigment of a lipstick and the shine of a gloss, which makes it perfect for the summer time!

What products will you be using in May?

    1. I do! The matte chocolate brown mixed with the black shade makes a great eyebrow color as well :)
