July Favorites

Well well well, another month has gone by and we're only 4 months away from Christmas time! July has been one of my favorite months so far because of my trip to San Francisco, time with friends, and new beauty discoveries.

The Laura Mercier Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer in Ochre is one of my favorite base products of all time. I can't believe I only discovered this during July as it's been life changing durning the summer time. It doesn't slip or slide on my skin in the hot weather and has medium coverage. The SPF 20 and natural skin like finish makes it the perfect base for the warmer months. The Tarte Lights, Camera, Flashes Mascara was a bit of a guilty pleasure purchase recently. I've always cringed at women who fork out their hard earned money on a beauty product that should be thrown away within three months, but this mascara completely changed my mind. Its amazing volumizing formula and texture makes my lashes look huge without being fake. A full review of this mascara will be up soon because I can't stop talking about it! A recent rediscovery is the Caudalie Beauty Elixir, which is a skincare gem that I used throughout the whole of last year. It's an incredibly refreshing product that I picked up to help me deal with the scorching summer heat. A quick spritz of this on your face will rejuvenate you and soothe the skin at the same time. Another rediscovered product I enjoyed is the Rimmel Scandal'Eyes Trio in Ochre. This eyeshadow trio has the perfect everyday shades with great pigmentation for a drugstore product. I love using the chocolate brown shade in my brows and in the crease for definition. Last but not least is a fall-esque lipstick: the NARS Lipstick in Gipsy. This rosy plum shade is absolutely fantastic when pressed into the lips as a stain. It leaves a sort of romantic, naturally rosy look to the lips, which is great during the hot summer time!
