If you know me well, you would know that breakfast is my absolute favorite meal of the day. If I could only eat eggs, pancakes, and pastries for the rest of my life, I would be satisfied. Because of that fact, my family and I often search for the best breakfast restaurant in each city we visit. In Hawaii, the best (in my opinion) is Like Like and in San Francisco, it's Mama's.
Mama's is hands down the best breakfast place I've ever visited. From the chocolate crumb cakes to the eggs and homefries, the restaurant does it all. The first time I went to Mama's was when I was in 1st or 2nd grade and it was an amazing experience. The staff is incredible, the food is delicious and the atmosphere feels like home. However, the line to get into the restaurant can be outrageous (we waited 2 hours to get in) but it's all worth it. Mama's is the one restaurant I would recommend to every SF resident or tourist because it's an amazing experience with fabulous food and company!
