Who else is excited for the fall season? Raises hand. Fall and winter are probably my two favorite times of the year because the temperatures drop and it's officially acceptable to wear jeans and a sweater in 80 degree weather. As the cooler days approach, my beauty routine will become more streamlined and my focus will be on clear, smooth skin and natural makeup.
To start off with, I'll be using the First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads every night after cleansing. The cotton pads are alcohol-free and are soaked in acids that exfoliate and balance the skin. Rather than using harsh, scrubbing exfoliators, I'll be reaching for these gentle pads that are perfect for sensitive skin. Hopefully after months of use, my skin with be clearer and brighter! For priming, I'll be using the Bare Minerals Prime Time Oil Control Primer, which is silky and leaves my skin feeling smooth and ready for base makeup. The primer glides over my pores and doesn't enhance any bumpy textures. It preps my skin and really does control the oil on my face. Even though the autumn temperatures are a bit cooler, I'm still dealing with oily patches and this primer will be perfect for the season. An old favorite reappears in the form of Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation in the shade 102 Light Nude. I used to use this foundation all the time and now that I've run out of my favorite NARS Sheer Glow Foundation in Punjab, I'll be applying this one as it's an exact dupe. The coverage is a nice light-medium and makes my skin look natural and luminous- perfect for the fall. Another drugstore favorite is the Maybelline Brow Drama in Dark Brown. This brow enhancer makes the hairs look thicker and adds fibers to actually add "hairs". I love how this sets my eyebrows and doesn't make them go crispy. Last but not least is my favorite fall nail polish: the OPI Nail Varnish in Barefood in Barcelona. This is the most gorgeous nude-pink shade that looks beautiful with all clothing and makeup looks. It's natural and soft, which is my go-to for everyday looks.
