Valentine's Makeup Ft. Urban Decay Naked on the Run

Eye shadows L-R: Dive, Fix, Resist, Dare, Stun

I love a good palette and when it's loaded with different types of face and eye products, I'm sold. I was lucky to be gifted with the Urban Decay Naked On the Run Palette during Christmas time (thanks mom and dad!) and I was so excited to try it out. After nearly two months of testing, I've concluded that this is a wonderful eye, lip, and cheek palette for anyone who loves neutral shadows and all the necessary makeup items housed in one container. The shadows are extremely pigmented and blend really well. The cheek products are nice but they won't be perfect for everyone as there's only one shade of bronzer, blush, and highlight. Despite the lack of color selection, I'm in love with this palette. I love that it includes a full size of their popular Naked gloss and two oversized samples of the new Perversion Mascara and 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil. It's $54 and is perfect for gifting (especially for Valentine's Day!).

For a soft, glowing Valentine's Day look, I used four of the eyeshadows and all of the other products in the container. I started off with a lightweight base and concealer and filled in the sparse areas of my eyebrows. I primed my eyelids with a long-lasting primer and moved on to the shadows. I applied the shade Fix all over my crease to add some depth and dimension and a bit of Dare to make it darker. I pressed Dive across my lid to add some rosy color and sheen and added Stun to the outer corners for some extra smokiness. I then lined my upper waterline and lashline with the eye pencil in Stag and added lashings of Perversion Mascara in Black, which creates the most insane lashes. I brushed on a bit of the bronzer on the high points of my face and some of the blush on my cheeks. The highlight color was placed on the tops of my cheekbones and on my cupid's bow, and then I topped off my lips with some of the Naked lipgloss in Sesso. I straightened my bangs and left my hair naturally wavy so that the look would be soft and feminine for any activity on Valentine's Day!
